Part 3: The Skydeck (and other views)

For the last trip of the day, we went to the Willis Tower and up to the 103rd floor, where you could look out all the windows, and then step out onto the ledge.

See the tennis courts we found?
The river was still green from St. Patrick's Day!

Some other views of the city...

Part 2: The Bean!

For the second stop of the day, we went to The Cloud Gate, otherwise known as the bean! But we first had to walk a ways to get to it!

Segway tour! It would have been so nice to use these, but at least we got our walking in!
Anybody want to jump in? Most people go to warm places over spring break. Us? Nah.
 Loved this arrangement!

 There it is!!!

 Dorky faces!

Umm, I don't see any ice..

After the bean we ate lunch across the street at Panera. If you ever go to Chicago, don't do this! All seats were taken once we got there!

Part 1: The Aquarium

Yeah, it's been a while, but that break was much needed!
Probably like most of you the fourth quarter of school is just around the corner! I am actually on spring break right now (and it is sooo nice!). Track keeps me busy pretty much every day, but on Tuesday I broke away from it when my family went on a day trip to Chicago! I took soo many pictures, but few are actually in focus, not blurry, and have a decent color. Okay, so to start off the day, we went to the Shedd Aquarium.

Sometimes if you don't look up, you'll miss some pretty cool stuff!

This guys facial expression was pretty funny!

We found a Nemo! (Hiding in the corner, trying to escape!)
This is a creature, not a plant. It looks so weird though!

The guy in front posed so I could snap this pic :)
The dolphins I think were doing their track workout, swimming laps.. around, and around, and around
What's an aquarium without some goldfish?!?

I'll post some pictures of the Cloud Gate (the bean) and the Sky Deck in upcoming posts!
