Haiti: Sports Camp

Now to be honest this was probably one of my favorite days. Why? Because we were with kids who had tons of energy and were happy. Now this is probably typical of all Haitians, but spending your time playing with these kids is so rewarding, they all want to play with you and just be with you because they know that you care about them and came to spend your day with them.

The usual goofy pictures for day five!

I actually got in a picture!

Abby learning how to spin a basketball on her finger!
 Another bus ride!
I was at the free play station, there was jump rope, Frisbee, and wiffle ball

The gate was randomly laying on the ground :)
 This girl was so spunky!

She was copying a pose that Hannah was showing her :)

Talking before the Haitian vs. American soccer game

Hannah with a couple of the girls that were hanging out around us watching the game

When it was time to leave, many Haitian kids were still clinging to their newest American friends and they would all wave to the bus leaving.
Now I didn't get many pictures, this one was taken while we were walking, but later that afternoon we did "layettes" which was basically going to mothers home who had children from newborn to toddler age and talking to them, praying, and gifting them with a "baby shower in a bag". About 13 of us went and we all had one specific baby for us, I had the daughter of Lifeline's church's pastor. She was one year old and wearing an adorable bathing suit. Of course when I held her, she cried, but that's alright. :)
