Break!

     Sadly, I will be leaving tomorrow for vacation, and I won't be back until Monday, the 30th or Tuesday, the 31st. I won't tell you where I am going now but I will when I get back, I'll also try to take LOTS of pictures! With that said, there won't be a doll guess this Saturday or the next, you'll have to wait until August. :(

Amusement Park!

     Sorry that I didn't post yesterday, my family and I had gone to an amusement park that we go to every year, so by the time we got back I was very tired, so I didn't post. So, today I was looking around and found some cool pictures of other amusement park rides, because I didn't take my camera to the amusement park yesterday.

Look how big this Ferris wheel is! It could fit like 100 people on it!

This roller coaster is beast! Too bad I don't like roller coasters. ;)

I love these kinds of rides! Actually, I like pretty much any ride that spins, except the ones where the floor drops!

 Finally, I can't forget the water rides!

     Sorry, for the brief post, and I will not post again until Saturday, because of an all day babysitting gig, though.. I might be able to get Hannah to post....

McKenna Movie Review!

     Yes, I did finally get around to seeing the Mckenna movie (I recorded it on the T.V., because my brother had a baseball game, so we couldn't see the premiere on Saturday), and I loved it! The actors were very good and I especially loved all the gymnastics shots in the movie. The story, like many other American Girl stories, had a lesson twisted into it that it is okay to ask for help. 

     Overall, the movie was very good, but it was predictable at the end, I also thought that Kerris Dorsey did a good job playing Josie. So I would give this movie 4.5 stars out of 5 stars because the movie was really good, but, of course, not perfect. 

     I would recommend this movie to anybody who wants to see a good, clean, girlish film. I would love to hear what you thought of the movie in the comments, thanks!

2. Tell us how the idea of making a blog popped up and why you continue.
Well, my sister had first been going to Liz's blog and soon I did too, then I started seeing more people's blogs, like Liddy's, Rose's, and Emma's. So this early January this year, my sister gave the idea to start a blog because she has one to, so I did! I continue to blog because it's fun!

3. Describe a usual day in your life.
Okay, well, this well be my schedule during the school year. First, I wake up. :D Then, I'll get ready and eat breakfast. I am dropped off at my bus stop at 7:10 and the bus usually comes about 5 minutes later. Once I arrive at school, I wait outside for about 15 minutes till school actually starts. Once school is let out, I go to either cross country, basketball, track, or I just ride the bus home. I'll eat a snack and do my homework, check my e-mail, and post! I'll have supper and finish homework, take a shower, and go to bed. So that would be my typical day!

4. Best collaboration with a blogger.
Well, I haven't really had a bad one, so I have had a lot of good collaborations!

5. Worst collaboration with a blogger.
Well, if you were reading the last answer, I haven't had a bad one, and hope not to!

6. Explain what this blog means to you.
Wow, well, I love blogging and being able to spill out my thoughts and have people actually spend time reading them really is surprising to me! But I love my followers and I hope they enjoy this blog! So, this blog really means a lot to me.

Sap!

     I know, the title is sort of interesting,who knew that I would post about sap on a blog about American Girl? But, if you've been here a while, you would know that I also talk about other things. So if you're wondering...I took some pictures of sap because while I was outside reading my book the other day, I noticed a sparkling almost glittery substance out of the corner of my eye. And sure enough, there was some sap that had come out of one of the boards, on our deck. So I was like, I have to get some pictures of this! So now, here I am, posting about sap. :) And without further ado, here are the pictures:

Friendship Bracelets!

CAUTION: LOTS OF PICTURES!!!

     Okay, so I was looking at the American Girl Website a couple days ago and saw that in the recentest-is that a word??- magazine, there were some ideas of types of bracelets to make. And so, yesterday, I did the Rainbow Weaver, and here are some of the pics of how it turned out:

McKenna Shoots for the Stars!

      As you have probably seen on different sites, McKenna's movie was released today on DVD. I don't know about you, but I'll probably wait and see the movie on July 14th, as shown on the flyer above. I also love it how McKenna's new outfits came out right about the same time as the movie.

     Before I get to The Doll Guess, welcome Pretty Lilly! Who I don't think has a blog, but I'm not sure. Wow! Within the last two days two new followers! Thanks so much! Now here is The Doll Guess #17:

Also, so you know, my computer wouldn't let me go to the American Girl website, so that is why this is late and now I would just like to say some things about the new items. First, you have probably seen them all on other websites, so I'll only talk about my favorites.

 This one is my absolute favorite! I love the pattern, the vest, the shoes, the pants, and her hairstyle, I'm in love with this outfit! It especially suits this doll specifically and the way her hair is done.

Then on this one, I love Julie's shirt, it's colors, I love! When I saw this outfit on the ad for Julie and Ivy's car, I was like, "That shirt is so cute!"
