A Blast from the Past!

Okay, so I've been meaning to do this post, and I finally have remembered to do it. So, below are two outfits that are old, retired American Girl Doll Outfits. My sister and I found them  at a garage sale and bought them. First, here is the Terrific Tubing Outfit from 1997: (You might have seen this on Nicki in our Snow photo shoot.)
 Just the outfit
 With the inner-tube
The boots, do you like the fur lining?
They are really colorful, and it says American Girl on the side.
The bottom, has the old American Girl logo
The inner-tube, it's cute that it says, "Hold Tight!"
 The old logo again

Here is the Play Outfit from 1998:
 Jellyon modeling the outfit
It came with an undershirt and a jean jacket, that has cute snaps that work!
The headband, which fits on their heads perfectly, matches the skirt design
 The sandles
To secure them, there is no Velcro! (I know, back in 1998, American Girl didn't use Velcro on everything!) It's just like sandles that we would wear, or some belts

Do you have any really old outfits? Here is a website that shows you all of the older American Girl Outfits that have been retired-click HERE-, if you explore the website, you'll find many cool retired outfits and accessories. For example, if you go to the Historical page, dolls like Josefina, Kirsten, Molly, Kit, ect., have many retired outfits. Also, there is a new poll now and a new Doll Guess will be up sometime tomorrow, thanks!
